Shinrin-Yoku is one of the most effective oils for supporting my youngest son’s anxiety. He isn’t keen on the smell, but he’s happy for me to apply it to the back of his neck – that way he still receives the benefits without the aroma being too close to his nose.

I’ve used these blends with my own boys for years. They’re a core part of our emotional toolkit – from helping us start the day with focus to winding down in the evening. Every blend has a purpose, and each one is designed to be supportive without being overwhelming.

All recipes are made for a 10 mL roller bottle.

Add the essential oils, then fill the rest with Fractionated Coconut Oil (or your preferred carrier oil).
Adjust the drops slightly for sensitive kids.

Focus & Concentration Blends

  • 5 drops Vetiver – deeply grounding for the nervous system
  • 4 drops Lavender – reduces anxiety, softens emotional overwhelm
  • 3 drops Cedarwood – clears mental fog, improves concentration
  • 3 drops Wild Orange – uplifts mood, brings gentle motivation

Use this before study time or during tough transitions when emotions are high and focus is low.

Grounding Roll-On Fusion
  • 5 drops Vetiver – anchors mind and body
  • 3 drops Frankincense – supports emotional regulation
  • 2 drops Cedarwood – reduces inner noise, strengthens concentration

  • 4 drops Rosemary -– improves memory and alertness
  • 2 drops Basil – reduces mental fatigue
  • 3 drops Lemon – sharpens attention
  • 1 drop Peppermint – supports sensory clarity
