Practical Support for Neurodivergent Families

Parenting neurodivergent children isn’t something you “fix” – it’s something you live. I support autistic, ADHD, and PDA families through school refusal, emotional overwhelm, and the deep fatigue of neurodivergent parenting with tools that are gentle, practical, and grounded in real life.

Support, tools, and lived experience to help your neurodivergent family breathe again.

What I Help With

I support neurodivergent families through the emotional, sensory, and practical challenges that shape everyday life:

  • School Refusal & School-Can’t
Understanding what’s really happening and building safety at home before learning can return.
  • Big Emotions & Emotional Regulation
Gentle, ND-affirming tools for kids who feel deeply – and parents trying to stay regulated too.
  • PDA-Friendly Parenting
Connection-first, low-demand strategies that respect nervous system needs.
  • Homeschooling & Deschooling
Guidance for families stepping away from school, rebuilding trust, and creating flexible, pressure-free learning.
  • Sensory Needs & Nervous System Support
Practical ways to reduce overwhelm, support regulation, and create calm, predictable spaces.
  • Tools for Neurodivergent Parents
Because your wellbeing matters – and ND parents deserve support too.

Support that’s gentle, practical, and grounded in real neurodivergent family life.

Three Ways I Support Neurodivergent Families

Everything here is designed to reduce pressure and help you find a calmer next step – without having to “do it properly”.

School Refusal or Homeschooling?

If you’re navigating school-can’t, burnout, or the pressure to do it “right” at home, you’re not alone – and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Deschooling Essentials is a free mini guide to help you take one calmer next step.

Meet Sophie – Founder of Totally Frank

I’m Sophie – a late-diagnosed autistic/ADHD mum married to an autistic man, raising two neurodivergent boys, including one with highly complex needs. Our family has navigated school refusal, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and the daily pressure of life as an ND household.

We rebuilt our life gently through nervous system work, sensory tools, essential oils as emotional supports, and low-demand homeschooling.

Totally Frank exists because I couldn’t find the lived-experience, non-judgemental guidance we needed – a place where neurodivergent families feel understood and supported.
