Blends for focus, calm, and everyday emotional balance

I’ve used these essential oil blends with my own boys for years. They’re a key part of our emotional toolkit — from starting the day with focus to winding down in the evening. Every oil here has a purpose, and the blends are designed to be supportive without being overwhelming.

All blends are based on a 10 mL roller bottle. Simply add the essential oils, then top up with Fractionated Coconut Oil (or your carrier oil of choice). Adjust drop numbers slightly for sensitive kids or younger children, if needed.

Calm & Concentrate

  • 5 drops Vetiver – deeply grounding and calming to the nervous system
  • 4 drops Lavender – reduces anxiety and softens emotional overwhelm
  • 3 drops Cedarwood – clears mental fog and improves concentration
  • 3 drops Wild Orange – uplifts mood and brings gentle motivation

This is a daily go-to for us. We use it before study time or during transitions when emotions are high and focus is low.

Grounding Roll-On Fusion

  • 5 drops Vetiver – anchors the mind and body
  • 3 drops Frankincense – supports emotional regulation and focus
  • 2 drops Cedarwood – strengthens concentration and reduces inner noise

A beautifully earthy blend that creates a sense of emotional stability. Great after meltdowns or during sensory overload.

Settle & Centre

  • 4 drops Lavender – calms heightened emotions
  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang – relaxes tension and softens mood swings
  • 2 drops Bergamot – brings emotional balance
  • 2 drops Roman Chamomile – soothes anxiety and supports gentle transitions

This blend helps shift from a high-alert state into something softer and more connected. It’s ideal before bed or after overstimulation.

  • 3 drops Frankincense – builds presence and calm thinking
  • 3 drops Wild Orange – lifts mood and brings joy

How to Use Essential Oil Roller Blends with Kids

  • Apply to pulse points – wrists, behind ears, spine, or soles of the feet.
  • Use consistently – try applying 2–3 times a day to build routine and emotional connection.
  • Get them involved – older kids often love choosing their own blend and rolling it on themselves.
  • Pair with a calming routine – deep breathing, stretching, or quiet time can help reinforce the benefits.
